Breast Aesthetics
Enlarge, Stretch and Reduce
Breast aesthetics refers to a medical field that includes surgical procedures aimed at correcting aesthetic concerns such as shape, size and sagging of women's breasts. Although these procedures are generally preferred for aesthetic reasons, in some cases they can also be applied to solve functional problems.
Breast Augmentation (Mammoplasty):
Breast augmentation surgery aims to increase breast size, usually using implants. This procedure makes naturally small breasts appear fuller and larger due to genetic factors. Implants containing silicone or saline solution are surgically placed above or below the breast tissue. In this way, the breast size and shape that the patient desires can be achieved.
Breast Lift (Mastopexy):
Breast lift surgery generally aims to correct sagging or loosening of the breasts. Sagging breast tissue may occur due to reasons such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, aging or genetic factors. Mastopexy gives the breasts a more youthful and lifted appearance by reshaping the breast tissue, moving the nipples upward and removing excess skin when necessary.
Breast Reduction (Mammoplasty):
Breast reduction surgery aims to relieve physical and emotional discomfort caused by overly large and heavy breasts. Large breasts can often cause problems such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, and clothing difficulties. Mammoplasty aims to obtain a more proportionate and comfortable breast size by reducing the volume of the breasts.
These breast aesthetic procedures can be customized based on patient needs and personal preferences. Each one is designed to help women feel better about themselves and increase their self-confidence. Prior to any breast aesthetic procedure, a detailed consultation takes place between the patient and surgeon to ensure understanding of expectations and possible outcomes.
